Last May she is embarked on a month long comedy tour throughout the UK, her 6th. In December she will join 3 others on a month long tour (on her 6th) to the Middle East, can you say Mars HOT! August, she to returned to Scotland for the 8th year in a row to participate in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Her solo show “I Didn’t Mean to be a Virgin in the 80s’ has been a hit with everyone lucky enough to see it. And Laura is currently working on her second book, turning her dissertation (yes officially she is Dr. Laura, but not THAT Dr. Laura) in turn a speaker’s platform to help heal a world so in need of levity. Laugh more! Doctor’s orders!
Opener: Lang Parker
Born and raised in Muskego Wisconsin, Lang has audiences doubling over with laughter when she tells how hard it is to be feminine when raised by a backwoods father and three brothers… “Yeah, I played with Barbie. I strung her from a willow tree and shot at her with a BB gun.” Lang came to national attention on the Emmy-nominated NBC hit show “Last Comic Standing.” She floored judges when she came out in her rough tomboy attire and asked, “Have you ever been mistaken for a lesbian?” Judge Buddy Hackett said flat out, “You are a star!”
