Headliner: Derick Lengwenus
Originally from Montreal, Derick currently resides in Chicago where he performs stand-up and studies improv at Second City. His credits include: Winner of Best Comedy in the Montreal Fringe Festival, Winner of the Audience Choice Award at the Just For Laughs Festival, and finalist at the San Francisco Comedy Competition. Derick is known for his hilarious character performances including his popular German Father Routine. Derick later turned this 7-minute stand-up routine into a critically acclaimed one man show entitled: “My German Father.” In 2007 Derick followed with his second award winning show – “George Bush: Live Press Conference” where he flexed his improvisation muscles.

Using a combination of story telling mixed with set-up punchlines, James makes observations on everyday situations that we can all relate with, while politely pointing out some of the cultural contradictions that have become the status quo. James has played many corporate events for major companies in Food Service, Oil and Gas, Technology, Medical and Banking industries.
