Enjoy a Visit to a Local Winery Near Medford
If you’re visiting Medford or have friends or family coming to the area for vacation, it would be fun to plan a day to visit some of the 80 wineries located in this region. Four wineries make up this trail, which is located just 15 minutes north of Rogue Regency for a convenient stay. Del Rio Vineyards is impressive in vineyard size and the tasting room is hosted in the old train stop. Humble, quaint and approachable is what you will experience while visiting this world class winery. Cliff Creek Cellars is a family-owned vineyard with a focus on red wines and located just 10 minutes from Del Rio. Continue on the trail and visit the newly opened Bayer Family Estate and the Award winning winery, Kriselle Cellars.
This area is also in close proximity to Rogue Regency, and it includes numerous wineries to suit every taste. For instance, the Weisinger Family Winery not only offers award-winning wines, it has spectacular views as it overlooks the Bear Creek Valley. StoneRiver Vineyards provides a unique setting with a large variety of wines stored in French barrels and music from the 50s and 60s to set a fun mood as you play Shuffleboard.
Just 30 minutes west of Medford is another fabulous wine trail. This trail features intriguing and unique wineries to explore. For instance, Troon Vineyard is must-see winery on this trail. The vineyard is set up on an estate with amazing views and a picnic area where you can enjoy the atmosphere along with great-tasting wines. In addition to these three wine trails, you will find the Jacksonville Wine Trail just 15 minutes west of Medford and Ashland Wineries just 20 minutes south.
